TASK

The circle of champions exercise is a little secret weapon that you can practice and perfect and then whip out whenever you get that nervous feeling in the pit of your stomach and can feel some debauchery about to happen.

Step 1: Imagine a circle, big enough for you to step into on the floor. Really stare at the floor and make it appear. The outline can be any colour, it is your circle, make it how you wish. The important thing is that you really imagine it there; you can feel its presence, go all drama student on us, decorate it and really believe it is there.

Step 2: Step into your circle, really go for this and once inside think about a time when you were really good at doing something.

Remember how it all went so smoothly, you were confident, calm, joyful and energized. Actually feel it in your toes all the way up shooting through the top of your head. Feel your creativity, feel how balanced and calm you were and enjoy reliving that moment and those feelings. If you are feeling low and can't think of a time when you were good at anything because you are consuming yourself with the worry that you will also be shit at this exercise, change your perception. That is all you need to do, stop beating up on yourself and just shift your perception. Do this exercise through the eyes of your favorite champion; it could be an entrepreneur, movie star or pop icon. How would they feel? Actually become them, really get under their skin.

Step 3: Take a moment to really feel it, really see it and really hear this moment. Then take another moment, feel it even more, really see it in your mind's eye and focus on the sounds that surround it. When you are in the circle and know you are great, fill yourself up with pride and greatness. Feel this greatness in your belly, feel how tight and strong your centre is.

Step 4: Step out of the circle and just relax and change your state. Whilst still remaining out of the circle think of someone that recently really pissed you off. Physically fill yourself with those negative emotions.

Step 5: Decide to use your circle of champions to change your mental and physical state again. Literally re-live step two.

Step 6: It's now up to you, you have two options. You can now decide to step out of your circle and keep your state and go on with your challenge now that you know you will overcome as you are strong. confident and balanced or alternatively pick up your imaginary circle, bring it to your waist and wear it like a belt. Know you are strong and centered and supported by this circle of excellence. If your mood waivers, place a hand on your circle of champions belt and reignite those feelings of confidence.

And there you have it, your very own confidence making a piece of mastery. Practice will make perfect in this and remember the key is to focus on the good stuff. See it, feel it, hear it and then you could achieve bloody anything.
