Evening Meditation
7-Minute Meditation With your Coach Gary Albert Hughes
Start Your Day With Inspiration
Introduction:
For an evening meditation, finding a peaceful space at home can provide a perfect opportunity to unwind and relax after a long day. Choose a quiet room where you won't be disturbed, such as a bedroom or a cozy corner in your living area. Dim the lights or light a few candles to create a soothing atmosphere. If you live with others, let them know that you'll need some uninterrupted time for meditation. Sit or lie down in a comfortable position, and if you like, you can use headphones to block out any household noise or distractions. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle into the present moment. Set an intention for your meditation, such as releasing stress, finding inner peace, or expressing gratitude for the day. Allow yourself to let go of any tension or worries as you focus on your breath and the sensations in your body. If your mind wanders, gently guide your attention back to your breath. Spend a few minutes in quiet reflection before gently transitioning back into your evening routine, feeling refreshed and centered.
